The Turquoise Coast

The Turkish Riviera (Turquoise Coast) stretches from Antalya to Fethiye and is home to some of the most beautiful coastline in the Mediterranean. Fethiye and Ölüdeniz are the crown jewels of this region.

Ölüdeniz and the Blue Lagoon

Ölüdeniz is famous for its Blue Lagoon — a sheltered bay with impossibly turquoise water. Entry to the Blue Lagoon beach costs about 100 TL. The public beach nearby is free. This is also the landing spot for paragliding from Babadağ mountain.

Paragliding from Babadağ

Tandem paragliding from Babadağ (1,960m) over Ölüdeniz is one of Turkey's most thrilling experiences. Flights cost 150–250 EUR including video. The 25-minute flight offers incredible views of the lagoon and coastline. No experience needed.

Fethiye Town

Fethiye has a lovely harbor, fish market where you choose your fish and have it cooked, ancient Lycian rock tombs visible from town, and the ghost town of Kayaköy nearby.

How do I get to Fethiye?

Fly to Dalaman Airport (DLM), then 45-minute transfer to Fethiye. Buses run from Istanbul (12 hours), Antalya (3.5 hours), and other cities.
